About John

As a competitive runner for almost 20 years, I know what it's like to chase big goals, manage injuries, train alone and with a team, and learn to defeat pain with my mind.

Any runner can learn to master the space between your ears. When applying mental skills, you can go from being fairly even with your competitors physically, technically, and tactically to picking them off one by one on the track, road, course, or trail. The bar you've set for yourself is only the beginning.

If you are the thing that is preventing yourself from showing up, stepping up, or leveling up, I'm here for that.

I'm John Keenan - a former regional sub-elite runner, video game enthusiast, trivia nerd, inexperienced handyman, and the person you call when you want a lethal combination of process and passion. When you are excited about what you do and the goals you have in your sport, I feed off of that energy and want nothing more than to help you break through barriers and overcome obstacles to get to the finish line. If you learn through stories and metaphors, are willing to trust the process, and are curious about who you are, what you're capable of, and how to push your limits, we'll get along just fine.

Here's more about me, my background, and my work with athletes just like you. I'd love the opportunity to learn more about you - who you are as an athlete and a person, what you're struggling with, what goals you have, and how I can help you perform better, have more success, and be happier in your sport and beyond.
